This comprehensive seminar discusses the challenges and obstacles to successfully passing a millage in today’s economic climate. The workshop includes: strategies for successful millage campaigns; timeline, budgets & fundraising; marketing tips and strategies; the roles of administration, staff, trustees, friends and volunteers, and finally a discussion of the changes in the tax environment and ballot requirements. |

Book Repair Workshop

This workshop will teach participants how to perform simple and effective repairs on books in their general collection. Participants will learn to assess the nature of the damage, decide on an appropriate treatment, and carry out several repair techniques. This workshop does NOT teach techniques for repairing materials that are special or rare. |
